VMR wheel help!

I'm looking to buy VMR V710s for my `01 325i sedan. Can anyone tell me what would be the reccomended size and offset? I was thinking of getting 18x8.5 all around or maybe stagger them with a 9.5 in the rear. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I have vmr 718's on my 325i sedan staggered 18x8.5 in front and 18x9.5 in rear front offsets are 35 an rear are 45

if you are lowered and you will be using 9.5 in the rear, you can use 245/35/18 to avoid rubbing when you have passengers at the back seat.

Ian I going to want 35's all around or just lower in the rear? The last thing I want is rubbing. I had a lowered truck and every bump it scraped the wheel wells

If you're interested in square fitment our 18x8.5 ET35 will work without any issues. However, many people prefer the look of staggered. 18x8.5 ET35/18x9.5 ET45 is what we recommend if that is the case.

Tire sizing would be a 235/40/18 and 255/35/18 on a sedan. If your car is lowered though you may need a narrower tire, unless you plan on rolling your fenders. Overall though it should be a pretty easy fit and I think you'll be happy with the setup.

Of course I'd be happy with it. And I do plan on lowering it within the near future but I'd have to figure out the numbers and bodywork after I get the wheels

Good plan. Some tires might not even rub, it all depends on how low you go, your alignment, tire choice, etc.

If you go with non-staggered, you're looking at 18x8.5 Et35 on all four, and you'll be getting 235/40-18 tires on all four corners. If you go with staggered, the rear would be 18x9.5 ET45, and the tire size would be 255/35-18.

Wouldn't 255 be too wide? Sorry I am new at the wheel aspect for my bimmer.

255's are fine... I'm running 265's but I have fender work.

255s should fit without any work.

Fender rolling will probably range between $25-$50 per corner here in SoCal, but prices vary all over the place. You can do it yourself if you take your time and make sure the fenders are heated adequately. Otherwise your paint can crack off.

So I have a coupe and I'd like to run 18X9.5 with 255/35/18 ET45 in the back, but can I make due with 225/40/18 tires on the front while using 18x8.5 ET35; what are the implications?

Those will fit just fine, no modification necessary. You shouldn't run into any issues.
