I will start this off by saying I didn't want to go all crazy on my car like tinkwithanr did on his, but it happened. Not trying to take away from the lunatic status restoration he's doing but I think we needed a roundie thread on here.

Yeah... this one sat unused for 20 years in the desert. Before that a kid had owned it in the 80's, dropped a 1.6 into it for some reason, cut the springs, and rattle canned the whole car black (it was originally Chamonix). It's gonna take a while to get back to perfect condition, but I'm hoping to have it ready for Laguna Seca in August.

As for your friends' landlord's mint car (assuming your version of mint and mine are the same), be prepared to spend $15k minimum just to buy the car
