Thats exactly the way I went (17x9 square for tire cost/rotation) and absolutely love it. Been nothing but happy and felt a noticeable improvement from the 7+lb heavier 18" Style 71's

Decided on Hyper Black for sure. I've been torn between 8.5" or 9" square, but signed up for 8.5s, as I don't track the car.

No other choice.

And yes, the vast vast majority of black wheels disgust me. Pretty much anything on the darker shade of things annoys me when it comes to wheels.

Still a little torn between 8.5s and 9s. What made you go with 9s? Is that what's in the photo?

I went with 17x9 hyper black on the group buy. Stayed up till midnight to pay...3rd on paid list!

I have silver 17x9 255/40 square Dunlops, no spacers. My next set of tires will likely be Hankook Ventus v12's based on their excellent price/weight/reviews I've read on them.

^ Looks nice! Having used many tires, I'd say go with the DWs or PSS instead of the V12 if you can.

I would do 8.5 square OP unless you're running wider than stock tires F+R

If you like taking pictures don't do satin black because they never come out as I've noticed. I still like my satin black wheels because my car is carbon black.

Get them refinished in Hyper Black and it'd look spot on.

That's the plan eventually but I just bought them Saturday for a really good price. Also they don't have a single scratch on them
