Hi - New Aussie Member
Hi all,
I've been reading these forums for a few months now (thanks to all the users who've posted the mounds and mounds of useful info and DIYs!) and figured it was time to get registered and introduce myself. I've had my 323 coupe for about 4 months now, second BMW I've owned, I had an E39 525i a few years back. Chopped and changed between *** brands and finally decided to get back into a BMW last year. Okay, it's no M3 but to save a deposit on the car and to ensure I could also afford the highest level of warranty and all the parts I'd want to add or replace to go with it I was working with a pretty tight budget. I love it though and perhaps an M3 for me in 3-4 years. Anyways, this is my car. Got the wheels from Jason at Euro Divison just after the new year, also purchased an M3 bumper from him and a couple of other bits. I have parts coming in for a cooling system overhaul, some new bushes and steering/suspension bits, some black vinyl for the window trims, looking at doing the projector retrofit sometime this month and hopefully I'll get some coil overs in the next few months. I'd like to do something with the brakes but I'm worried about upsetting the bias by going bigger on the front - I really like to try and do things right with my cars so any tips would be helpful. On to some pics, don't have interior pics right now but it's just normal beige leather with woodgrain, pretty sure it's been seen before. No fancy photography here, they're all taken with my phone. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() _sl_ Last edited by Stray; 02-04-2013 at 04:13 AM. |

Welcome! Enjoy your time and soak in the knowledge. Probably avoid the WTB - Modified m3.... thread, as it isn't a true indication of what this forum is about lol.
Love the black on black !

Thanks for the welcome guys, obviously I messed up the pics in my first post so I've just reposted them.
For whoever is interested wheel specs are: 19x8.5 ET +40 19x10 ET +38 I have 235 up front and 245 at the back, hard to tell from most of the pics I guess but the front offset is a little weak and could use a spacer. The backs are good though and when it's lowered they'll sit pretty much flush with the guard, or poke out a tiny bit. I do wish I'd gotten silver wheels now but what can you do? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() |

Haha thanks, the front needs to be lower but in the rear it has to stay reasonable due to the crappy roads around this area.
Anyone who happens to read this have a good suggestion for a brake upgrade? I'd prefer to just do the fronts for now, so nothing too huge. Although the ECS Tuning 6 piston set up for under 2 grand sort of has me day dreaming a little. |

Ye I think so.. I bought them "second hand" .. I used quotation marks since they had never been mounted by the first owner previously

I'd seen your car before and thought they looked the same. Are you running a spacer in the front?
