Help need about hid fog.

Hello. I installed the hid fog on my friend's m5, and he's saying sometimes 'check foglight' loght comes on and off.
All I can think is the resistance difference.
Will I able to fix it with resistors or I'm completely off?

check... take out the hid kit and turn on your lights and the see if the "check lights" comes on. If it does, then the LCM checks the fogs too. Then put a regular halogen bulb in and see if the "check lights" goes away. If that's the case, then I think you will need to reprogram or get a resistor. Maybe you can bring it to the dealer to reprogram, because BMWs in Europe can get HID fogs.
