I try to go really fast. I'm glad that's encouraged.

Please don't say that lol

Speed reps have been around a lot longer than crossfit.

meh, you knew what I meant. I usually have a negative association with any described at crossfit anyway.

which statistically speaking, based on the number of bad affiliates vs good ones, you'd be right.

Glight designed a new program and him, myself and a with a few others are the guinea pigs. It's 4 straight days of 50 squats each day. It goes from lighter-heavier as the week goes on. I actually like it.

what's supposed to be the benefit? cardio + strength training at the same time?

As far as I know it's mainly strength with some possible muscle gain. I do notice my legs are rock hard all week long now lol. I also have almost no soreness and don't feel like the previous days leg work affect my next days workout.

There isn't much cardio involved as there is dealing with the burning feeling. Week 1 was by far the worst. Cramping all over the place on day 2. I'm moving along nicely. When I started I thought my 20rep max was around 145 or so. I go 170x20 or so two weeks ago. Tonight I try for 180lbs with at least 10 reps. I am going to try my best to get 20 though.

It's definitely a strength/endurance program. Greg is a strength guy!

yea for sure. After I top out, not sure when that will be or how Greg wants the program to end, I'll try to max out. Greg, if you see this let me know at what point the program should stop.

My girl friend called me muscley last night while I was walking around naked. I will never stop lol. I am still very modest and hardly feel "muscley" but I'll take it. Oh btw, you're a lawyer now. You're going to meet a girl that likes you because of you personality and career. You better get your sh1t together. lol

What thread was that nonsense posted in saying it was strange to max press. Clean and Press was an Olympic event until 1972!

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Bimmer App

I forget which one. I was a little confused how a front squat and a press max were weird.
