No doubt he's smart, and good at what he does, but in reading his emails it felt like most of his brain was allocated to doing one thing and one thing only.

A truly intelligent person will be able to clearly convey their thoughts in the most concise manner possible.
that's an appropriate way to explain it. I know people like that too. Makes me wonder how they got hired in the first place.

Now handwriting... that's an interesting one. Doctors have the worst ever, while middle school girls have some of the cleanest and "prettiest". Is knowledge inversely proportional to handwriting legibility?

My handwriting has been known to cause retinal detachment.

apparantly you don't need good grammar to get a college degree. I know people who brag about their Universities but can't spell or write for sh!t. money well spent

Yeah but that's as a second language. It's different.

I don't judge handwriting. Mainly because mine is terrible

Do you instantly judge people and look up to them or down on them merely based on whether they're using big fancy words versus not knowing the difference between there/their/they're?

or do you try to look past there weak education and see if their good problem solvers and just smart in a different way?
You provide hard evidence to the stereotype.

I went ahead and highlighted the areas needing review.

Absolutely. Individuals who speak like "thugs" disqualify themselves as educated, thinking people. I immediately assume that they grew up with a lack of influence from positive, caring parents (or caretakers) and an excessive influence from garbage media like MTV.

I don't care what color they are, what god they pray to, or where their parents originated... if they speak like an idiot, they likely are just that.

From my perspective I assume it is more related to their perfectionism or other complexities that command perfect grammar, or lack thereof, respectively.

Anyone can be book smart, not everyone can be street smart, and even fewer understand common sense. I'm still trying to figure out if this debacle is wrapped around Americans or the entire world in general...

I need to get out more lol.

depends on the situation. if it is on a forum such as this, i really dont care about grammar or punctuation for that matter. but if it is business related i judge.
