So, I'm not confident I'm going to be able to hit my 300lb bench goal by the end of march as planned. I'm not going to let it discourage me though, i will get as close as i can manage with my hard work and dedication. Wish me luck on my progress!

I don't really know because i don't hit my 1rm very often, and I've been lifting alone lately. I'm thinking 250-260 is probably about where i am. If I'm right, i know 300 isn't impossible by the end of march, but i really need to strengthen my back and chest and shoulders more to land that.
I also don't want to overly focus on the bench. Although it is a goal i would love to meet, i also have other training goals that are important to me. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Bimmer App |

Agreed, that's quite an increase. But your numbers are still great in my opinion... hell my goal is 225lb x 8... I'd be happy even if I never went above that. At least I say that now we'll see.
With patience and eating clean & big you'll get it eventually.

I've been stuck at 185 for about a month now. My goal is 185 x 3 and right now I'm at it for about 1rm.

My theory is to set goals that are at the edge of the possible, work my hardest to accomplish them, but understand I'm not prefect and will probably fall up a little short. As long as I'm making progress, I'm ok with falling a little short or crossing the finish line a little late. I will as soon as I get home from work. I've been in a subpar/lazy mood all day, and have no motivation to hit the gym. Maybe when I write up a list of goals it'll pump me up enough to go achieve them. Thanks!
