TCU won't pair

Hey guys just got a tcu off ebay the tcu is part # is 84116946993 which has been confirmed to have Bluetooth I purchases the Bluetooth antenna that goes under the center console as well as the new Bluetooth mic. I did purchase the ses jumper cable but didn't need.it since I could find the blue cable that goes to it . So I know the tcu doesn't need a paring button it.goes.into.pairing mode.once the car.is on the only cable that I connected is the black one on the tcu and the cream beige connector but when I press the R/T button on the steering.wheel it says phone book empty and when I search for Bluetooth devices.on my cell phone nothing comes.up !! Any help would be greatly appreciated guys !! Also I have a 05 325ci which didn't have assist or Bluetooth previously . I'm open to all suggestions I have searched all over but don't know what else to do or look for.

Did you put your phone in pairing mode and then turn the key in the ignition?
The car should search for a BT device to pair with for 1 or 2 minutes.
If the phone see it, you should be prompted for the 4 digit passcode.

Did you every solve this? I am having the same issue.. I have a 2004 330xi with Assist. I swapped out the TCU for a 94.10.9195455 TCU and added in the BT antenna under arm rest. The jumper pre-installed on the blue connector. I have all cables connected (beige/purple, black/purple, and blue/purple along with large black connector on rear) as in the pictures shown and no go. I even got the resler ibus adapter and checked that the TCU can communicated with an it can be coded (BT is enabled and I enabled voice). Still nothing will pair with it. Turn ignition to pos 2 (or even start the car) and as I understand it should enter pairing mode for two minutes. Nope. Turn car off for 1 minute and repeat.. Nothing.. Double checked antenna connections and even put phone(s) on top of TCU.. No joy... Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks!
