Just washed my car and the girlfriends car
Whats going on guys! So the weather has been really crappy lately so there has been alot of salts on the roads. This morning it was only about 38 so my girlfriend and I got up early before work to clean our cars so I figured I would share the photos with you! Enjoy!
Here are some pictures the day before when I washed it... ![]() ![]() After washing the car a few days ago I still managed to get some salt on the back bumper and the bottom part of the car so here are the photos I snapped of our cars this morning! Enjoy! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

so clean. All you need are some spacers up front and you're golden!

Yes another e39 ! Looks great. IMO to achieve the "perfect" stance you need spacers. Id say a 15mm front and 10mm rear. At your height you'd have to roll the rear fenders and/or raise it up slightly. Im a big fan of this car from bf.c

Thanks a lot man! Yeah I think I will try adding some spacers in the future. The last time I had spacers on the car, the rear passenger wheel came off the car while I was driving :/ Thanks guys! Yeah I plan on raising it a bit, it's kind of annoying when you see a speed bumper and you have to stop and then find another way around

Here is a picture of the fitment of the wheels with spacers and adapters. ![]() ![]() This is the end result. ![]() ![]() Luckily once it happened, my rotor was still okay and the only thing that got messed up was the rear bumper popped out of a place and I was able to fix it right then and there. Once this happened, I decided to take off all spacers and wheel adapters and just put the oem wheels back on. While the shop had my car I went ahead and had them replace the rear with 2 brand new tires (fronts had already been replaced). I picked up my car around 5pm on a Saturday during my lunch break and drove it back to work. That Sunday morning one of my brand new rear tires went completely flat (luckily not on the bay bridge which is about 4.2 miles long) right after the bridge. ![]() I ended up having the car towed back across the bridge to the shop that replaced the tire. They took care of the towing which was nice and said they would try to get the tire company to pay for it as it may have been a defect. I ended up having to pay for ANOTHER new tire but they only charged me cost. Ever since that has happened I've been so iffy about wheel spacers

Nice looking girl ! I understand your spacer situation now but you do know they have the hub adapters in various mm lengths such as 15, 20 and 25 ect? After seeing what happened with you I think I'll stick with e39 wheels lol... and in my previos responses I want to clarify that I didnt mean to say your car "needs" spacers in a rude way ( I was just reading it over and I think it sounded at bit out of place) I was making a suggestion based on my preferences. Your car is actually one of the nicest e39 m5s ive seen. Everything is well executed and clean. I hope you stay on this forum more often its getting a little lonely being an e39er here lol..
