F.S. {WA} M3 Starter Motor, Alternator, SMG, DME etc.

A few parts I've collected that are gathering dust.
Most of these parts are from an 89,000 km 2002 M3 and were working when removed.
All of these bits have been sitting around for 2 years.
Before I bung them on Ebay I thought I'd put them up here - its free and I prefer buying things here.

Any questions fire away.

I like this piece. Pump is good, Left hand threads are good. I can separate the solenoids if that's all you need. Caps are gone. I need some if you have them.

Hi Shuey - Its always good to know another local driver.
Somebody has said they will take the clutch seems genuine waiting on postage etc.

The bluetooth antenna is an OEM item . It has a FAKRA connector ad works with the phone. No idea about iPod.

What about a Mk IV Nav computer?

Will it fit? -yes it will -change the mounts and the tail shaft. Got a clutch?
Will the SMG work? - it can be done. This was my intention. I've got most of the parts you will need too but there are a few details that need to be sorted like running your car on the M3 DME as this controls the shifts. Saves finding a clutch pedal though.
Alternatively
If you have an auto then converting the box to manual and getting a clutch pedal may be your preferred option. I already have a 5 speed MT so for me the work involved going to 6 gears seemed unwarranted for normal road usage. Furthermore the 6 speed is 2X stronger than the 5 speed and better suited to the 3.0 motor.


FWIW There was an SMG I (SSG?) fitted to some non-M E46's. This was not the same. The gear I have for sale came from an E46 M3 and is SMG II.

ALL is well and so am I thank you.
About the BT Antenna the part nr. 6928461. It comes with the mounting bracket as pictured too.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the factory DM clutches unless you are making extraordinary horsepower and using it. I would also not recommend moving away from the OEM clutch if you have SMG and don't know how to set it up for the take-up characteristics of a different type of clutch.

Put a price on your UUC clutch so people know where you are coming from. Even eBay is moving towards fixed price sales.
