That might not be enough race fuel..

:Edit: There's a couple fuel places here in LA. I'll see what kinda pricing I can get. Might be cheaper to buy it down here. Last time I looked it was for 6.50 for 110 and $7.50 for one 112.

No worries Mav. I'll take care of it. 55g of 110L should be enough to support 2-3 cars for 2 days, Kevin, myself and anyone else that needs fuel should be fine on the E85.

I brought like 20g of E85 last event and wound up using almost 30g! I think i lent some e85 out to others though. I think Kenton brought like 10g-15g of 110L and ran out as well. But we're talking ran out late Sunday.. not half way through the first day.

why dont you attend Texas mile?

turbo E46 M3s should represent BMW platform at the mile event.

The Lamborghini's and Ford GT's have a clear advantage due to displacement, and better aerodynamics at those speeds.. unless you were going out there to set a bmw specific record you'd have no chance.

We saw a Texas Mile 2000whp Ford GT at the last 1/2 mile event doing tuning.. that is on a whole different level.

well, supras with 3000 cc attend mile event and were over 200 miles many times.

What I would love to hear is if turbo E46 M3 owners with different set ups attend mile event and start improving their cars and the E46 M3 takes place in the mile list.

At the beginning there might be no fast times, but as the time goes by, people can work on their M3s and make them bullets.

Seeing big boys and running against them will definetely encourgare M3 owners.

Marcus, my old 60-130 time was 4,23 s. I am sure that it could be improved down to 3,7 s. A 3,7 seconds RWD M3 will be keeping up with the big boys
To make sure, I am working on my RWD M3 as well, want to make sure RWD M3 makes 60-130 mph in 3,7 seconds.

On the AWD my goal is to hit 60-130 in 2,5 - 2,6 seconds. God bless me

Its not impossible but there is little replacement for displacement when you start getting into serious events like the Texas Mile where you're going up against 5.0L+ cars with better areodynamics. I'm not saying an M3 couldn't dip into the low 200's.. but if you want to take home a trophy its not going to be easy. For me, personally its not worth the investment of time and money when going against those with deeper pockets and better platforms to start with.

Marcus you are 100 % correct.

Let me blurr your mind

I ve been hearing of 2JZ engines, making 2500 bhp. 60 psi / 10.500 rpm out of 3 litres

So small engines make good power. Who knows how many runs these engines last....

I was about to purchase a V8 427 cid engine from States, I did abort, I feel as if I have to stick to S50 B32 and to S54 B35 for the rest of my life. Thats
a different addiction. One thing I know is If you stick to a subject, stay determined, your dreams get real sooner or later.

Just wanted to drop in and see what's shaken on the E46 forum. Hope to see everyone at Shift S3ctor. No single turbo yet, but it won't be long. We do have the Alpina AT flash now which is a big deal for the AT guys. No more timing drop in 5th and DCT like shifts. Should be interesting as we test on the ST cars. Hopefully it will hold the power now. Also spoke with Michael over at ETS and they're planning on bringing some of their shop GTRs down. Should be a good time. So if you see a Montigo Blue e92 335 from Oregon, drop over to say hi.

This is where somebody with the right attitude and deep pockets would do an S85 swap into an E46. I don't see that in the near future though.
