I did this today so I'll update. Color codes are different for Red at Michaels now. I paid .37 cents for each thread for 1.10 after taxes.
Took me about 3 hours total. Sorry for terrible pics, took them with a macbook :\ Heres the shift boot  Heres the e-brake boot  Waiting for zhp shift knob in the mail.
