Definitely something to weigh out as it will increase the overall cost of the wheels but it's one way to really differentiate your set.

I think I saw some pics of a 'custom brushed clearcoat' if finish on some v701s, is that available or was it a one-off?

We've only done a few wheels like that before, and it's a pretty custom thing. We generally don't recommend it because it's more expensive than our standard powder coated finishes, and the results vary a bit between wheels. The wheels end up looking like this though.

Hey kevin on that brushed wheel do you just take hypersilver and use a gritted surface to put the lines in the top coat?

No, the wheels first get stripped down to the bare metal, and then the get sent to a machine shop. A machinist will thing brush the wheels until the finish looks like that. If you notice on the pictures above, the brushing in between the spokes/windows it looks less uniform. This is all done by hand. One of our dealers did something similar, except they polished the windows of the spokes. In my opinion, it looks cleaner this way.
