Hey I've recently got my 325i after some hard back breaking work and I am nothing but proud of it, the car does need a little bit of work
-the air intake box is broken
-there is random misfire after 5000 rpm and that's not all the time.
-trunk light is on in dashboard
But hopefully the some of your help I'll get this fixed by my self.

Well on the air box being cracked i would buy a cone air filter it cost $30.00 i bought one for mine 02 325i...besides it removes all the b.s. in the way and opens it up too. I would replace the coil for that misfire

Welcome. Sometimes the trunk warning comes from broken wires in the plastic hose that goes from the trunklid to the car body. Search "elephant" to find more; the breaks are not always visible.
