What I love best about SMG is that most of my friends and family, even those that are into cars, are totally stumped at how to drive SMG correctly that they don't even ask me to drive my car anymore.

Wink

-The good news is that my wife drive it on long trips
-She can drive it home when I'm drinking

I wish someone come up with a system that would allow you to use 2 pedels in auto mode and when you want to shift a third clutch pedel would deploy and you could use as a traditional manual!

Heres's one, nearly identical M3's, my SMG vs my friends Stick shift, starting somewhere around 40/50 mph in 3rd gear using setting S6 . i plan to convert to stick shift in the future though.

S4 is what I drive in, too. Play with all the modes, though. And do the SMG reset after you get the car so it can learn your driving style. Get up to 40ish, throw it into neutral, hold down both paddles for a few seconds, then put it back into gear. Don't hit the gas until it's back into gear.
how do you do the SMG reset?

your gf or wife can can drive it when your drinking, your left foot can get some rest unless you do left foot braking, going thru gear using paddles is just like playing a video game with perfect downshift blips everytime

Reasons to love SMG

Thought I'd bump this because I got rid of my vert and picked up a coupe which of course was SMG.
