I hear you bro, prioritize your modding list but also this pic of the 2012 version 2 steering wheel should finalize your decision:

Black carpet is one of my favorite interior mods, right up there with M3 seats and steering wheel. I did black suede headliner too, plus bought all the visors, lights, trim pieces by carpet, etc.
Here's the whole thread: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...=706905&page=1 Some pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Very nice interior, but did you put Coupe's front seats in a sedan?! How hard was it?

It was easy! I had to change the color (because M3 seats were never offered in Tan in the US) and swap the outer seat rails on the seats, where the seatbelt attaches to on the sedans (coupe seatbelts attach to the floor.) Besides that, there's only one difference, the ability of the coupe seats to fold forward with the lever on the side, which is really nice for carrying big boxes and stuff, and cleaning underneath the seats. I highly recommend getting M3 seats if you have black or gray interior

alec, I love your coupe seats & black carpet mods, AWESOME DIY work!!!
I had my headliner, pillars & upgraded to black suede & the rear deck parcel swapped for OEM style leather & I thought about black carpet next but my beige carpet is still in great shape...

Awesome, post some pics of your rear deck! I'd like to see how the leather looks on there
