I like this idea with the bourbon. Does that last long?

it will begin to evaporate after awhile. the sticks will soak up the booze. Maybe a month if you have a good seal.

Just don't use a mason jar. My friend did that with a glass of bourbon and I had to air the cigar out for 5 days before it was even close to smokable. It was as limp as a wet noodle.

I'm saying make sure it's not totally air tight. He used a shot glass with 10 cigars in a mason jar

I will only do the bourbon thing in a spare humidor with cheap cigars, premium cigars have already a scent/aroma/taste of its own that to me seems wrong to mess with it

A friend of mine did this with makers mark one time. Soaked them. They were ridiculously smokey like a week later when we lit them up. It was almost too much. Clothes smelled like a bonfire haha. I just wanted to maybe flavor the box a little while seasoning it.

Start with a small amount of booze. Then adjust accordingly

Thoroughly enjoying a Don Tomas Classico paired with a glass of Glenlivet 12. This Don Tomas is one of my favorites so far.
