Only downside is it won't fit in the DD hard case with the scope.

Looks great chase...does it still have my fingerprints on it?

It won't fit in the case without the mag in it? Seems like it should somehow...

It kind of looks like they contracted out the mounting hardware to American Defense Manufacturing. If they did, then they have a very good quality mount.

local gunsmith had high praise for them at the $80 price point. preferred it over just plain rings. thanks for the help.

I can't verify that, though. Either they cloned and modified the design, developed something that looks similar by chance, or it's contracted hardware from ADM.

This isn't mine but will help give an idea



The problem is that with the foregrip, you can't angle the gun in the case.. so if you have the foregrip on, you can't have the scope on and put it in the case... also won't fit with a magazine.

So remove the foregrip, or separate the upper from the lower.

Quoted for truth Chase. Honestly foregrips seem like a gimmick to me anyway.

Break the gun down, remove the mag and the grip, or get a new case.

Are you guys generally against foregrips? I felt more comfortable with it than just holding the rail.. not sure why

Most people use them incorrectly. Their biggest strength is to give you something to lock into and pull on when shouldering the rifle. Grabbing at the point where the rail meets the grip at that right angle is what I mean. You support the rifle with the rail and derive control by pulling the rifle toward you using the grip. People who grab the foregrip like their dick have got it all wrong IMO.

There's application for them, but there are other products that have very similar effect.

I have tried both vertical foregrips and angled foregrips, and I have finally settled on a small handstop. I find that it gives me the control that I need while transitioning targets and the AR is rock solid. If you like it, then more power to you. I wasn't saying that you shouldn't use it, I was saying just take it off if it won't fit in the case with it on.

I was going to use the term broomstick grip, but I guess they are both the same thing. The problem that I found by using the broomstick grip is that the AR is very top heavy and pivots quite a bit on recoil and transitions. If you are using the forward grip as a hand stop as David described above then that's fine too, but you can find much shorter versions that will still allow it to fit in the case.

Dick's sporting goods.. Randomly came with a friend who needed shoes during our lunch break and found these... Last two boxes of the 15 cases (10 boxes per case) that they got this morning... Apparently had a line out the door

I have also tried regular foregrips, angled ones, handstops and have finally settled on the larue fug or tangodown stubby qd grip. I use them as a handstop per say though for the most part they just fit my hands better
