Going to watch Episode 3 later. The first two have been meh so far. Nothing really "gripping" about it. Could be ALOT better

Most definitely

All Showtime shows now seem to have an absurd amount of boobies as of late. Not that I'm complaining, but it is a noticeable trend.

Shameless was awesome last week.

And the Americans seems to be slow developing but has the potential to be great, episode 3 was pretty good.

Yeah that was pretty hilarious, the show is so messed up but most likely very true to life for a lot of people.

Shameless has been RIDICULOUS this season

I love that show. Nothing like South Side Chicago. Frank's randomness has been great. Getting back to the US, "babysitting", Carl w/ cancer.

Have seen all three episodes. Kind of boring. I'll give it a few more episodes but if it's the same as the first three eps, I'll stop watching it. Like someone posted above, there's nothing gripping about it. And every episode ends without any sort of cliffhanger to keep you watching.

Watched all five episode on Hulu - love it so far.

Perhaps people got this new show all wrong. This is more down to earth and realistic portrayal of espionage - in line with Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. People are probably accustomed to Jason Bourne, 007, and action packed spy movies. Unfortunately that isn't the case in reality and I think FX's The Americans captures that. That's probably why it comes off as slow and boring..

I also find interesting that the KGB's Directorate S actually existed - aka the "illegals" program for foreign intelligence operations.

I am really enjoying the show so far.

I agree with MDydinanM. I don't think the show is boring. If you want lots of action and explosions, watch 24.

Yup, people have developed such short attention spans, without constant action and death they get bored.
