The only thing that smells after my shift is my hands of the Kay Chemicals soaps, degreasers, sanitizers and other stuff.. the scent stays all day long and it smells good it is soap but u get tired of it.. and the shoes omg the shoes.. I just put them outside they smell of frozen fries.. other than that my uniform gets dirty faster than smelly.

Wow some people here are really pricks. Bottom of the barrel huh? Must me sad to live in a world where a DM for McDonalds makes more than they do. I know a number of people working for Mcdonalds (not owners) making over 100K. Outside big cities, most McDonalds I have been to have nice, young, normal kids, and the same around the globe. Only in places like NY, Miami, LA, and places of that nature have deadbeats working there (not all, but a large portion.) When I hire management, if they have Mcdonalds on their resume (in ANY capacity) their resume immediately goes to the top of my pile.

edit: those salary figures are based on socal which the average store does much more than the average store in the midwest or other parts of the country. socal has the top comp sales for same store locations year after year and is leading the nation so in turn most get paid more. reality is some store managers in the mid west get under paid at around 35-50k which really isint enough if you want to have happy managers because in the end they are running your multi million dollar business and are what make your daily operations profitable

General managers get a good pay and great benefits... but it took a lot of effort to get to where they are

all depends on the organization they work for. i know of some organizations in socal that pay near the 40k mark when a different organization down the street pays 60-70k its sad. but hey .. yeah socal has some very high volume locations
