2001 330i sport h/k 5 speed clean classy mods

For sale I have a VERY good to Excellent condition 2001 BMW 330i with the sport suspension, Harman Kardon sound. Sport seats, M3 Rims, Sport shift knob, etc. 132k miles.

It is a 5 speed. No test drives unless I am CERTAIN you can drive it. I will be glad to give anyone a ride anywhere.
It has remote start on it. It is a Compustar module with compustar pro 1 mile range remotes.
I have 2 3 button Keys with remote built in, I also have a valet key. With 2 remotes for the remote start.

The remote start has two safety features, one a reservation mode needed to be set everytime you exit the vehicle and want it to remote start, if its not triggered remote start wont work. Its not possible for the car to move if this isnt activated, and if its activated the car will for sure be in N. Secondly it has a DAS sensor that senses any change in angle or acceleration of the vehicle and automatically kills starter. as a backup

*Hotckins Sport front / rear sway bars installed on the car. This car "rides on a rail" cornering is fantastic.
*Angel eye headlights with projector HIDs. In 5000k Pure white color. (no blue)
*Projector HID fog lights in 3000k color.
*High beams are also HID 5000k Pure white
* Drone mobile installed less than a month ago. This works with the remote start, allowing you to lock, unlock and remote start from your phone. There is 10-11 months left on the year i bought. It will be transferred to new owner.
*Dynavin D99+ head unit. - This is an Android in-dash head unit made to look and fit OEM. works excellent. iPod, iPhone, iPad hookups, as well as android, or any USB device including memory sticks. Retail price goes for 900 bucks.
*Memphis component speakers throughout the car, only speakers not replaced are the factory sub woofers.
*Rockford Fosgate BD1000.1 amp installed in the car pushing a single 10" Rockford Fosgate T0 at about 500rms Watts.
*Its built in a .75 cube sealed enclosure made to the fit the ski pass hole in the trunk. Very little trunk space used. VERY LITTLE.
*BimmerBrake Headers professionally installed and tuned for the car. The ecu management was sorted so the vehicle will pass emissions. (as you can imagine, its noticeably faster than a regular 330)
*EVERY bushing in the rear of the car was replaced, 21 in total, this includes trailing arm, carrier, and all differential bearings.
*The lower control arms are replaced less than 1k miles ago.
*Front control arm bushings replaced ~1k Miles ago
*Cabin air filter replaced with an OE unit <2k miles ago.
*Car currently has 18" m3 rims with Blizzack tires (winter set), summer set includes stock 17's for sport models, with Michelin performance tires. (Blizzacks are around 50%, michelins are above 75% easy, but are kinda choppy)
*Felpro oil gasket installed 2/15/13 (professionally done)
***ZHP Steering rack installed

I've got over 13k in the car. Im not looking to make money, just move on. LOVE LOVE LOVE this car, only thinking of getting rid of it to step up to a newer model.

Thanks for your time.

The vehicle JUST got a fresh oe oil change on Friday 2/15/13. Of which I have done every 3k miles. Dont care what anyone says. I do 3k.

The trades I would be interested in would be 2006+ 330 sedans in manual, z06 manual, 350z manual, or even a RSV4. Id toss cash on top for the right one in any category.

Cash Price - $9,500. $8000 CASH FIRM for the car without the 17" rims (pictured are the 18s), the dynavin, and the sub setup (including signal and power wires)

Thanks for looking

As much as I would love my mods to increase the value of my car, they don't. No offense but neither do yours. $10,000 for a 132k mile 01 330i? I could buy an 04 ZHP with 110K miles for that price. GLWS

Thats nice, good find. But your opinion is really a moot point. You want it to, but they dont? I seem to think they do?

If doesnt sell, it doesnt sell. Im not really hurt about it or needing to sell it. If I was it would NOT be this price.

I understand how this goes I have been around the block plenty of times. Enough to know comments like yours are un warranted, and useless.

So thanks for that.

**Oh and nice tint mod too, thats so cool you need to list it on your sig. (not to mention the grille, corners etc, those are def worth noting...) Alpine's are REAL good subs too.. anything from best buy is top notch!

Nice barbie corvette too. I know so many people that just love the LT1 mo....ahhhh nevermind

Sorry for the personal attack, oh wait, no im not. Keep your pointless comments to yourself or youll get plenty in return. 'specially from me

To be square and honest. I don't really want to sell it. I love this car. I have another car that is screaming my name and I won't do it unless this one sells first. So I put the price high. If anyone's actually interested in paying for nice features and getting a car that is done. This is it. Nothing needed. That's what I was told when I bought it, 5 grand later here we sit. If I buy this other car ill have te same problem. 12-14k for the car and another 5-10 for this one to make me like it. I don't do cars for resale. I buy and do cars that I want to drive. This is a car that you want to drive. It's STUCK to the ground, acceleration is linear and responsive. Feedback is second to none. And it has all the niceties that make it daily comfortable. In my opinion it's all around done car. Ill glady listen to offers of 9k, but the dynavin will be gone as well as the sub. Most people don't need/want those and I'm fine with keeping them.

The seats in the pics are not m3 seats just standard sport seats may want to note that in your advertisement. Also the shift knob is not an M3 knob just a M badged knob as the M3 shift knobs come with the boot attached.

Car looks like it has a lot of work best of luck with the sale.

And thank you very much. Its not alot of modifications, but well placed simple stuff to really improve the experience. It takes an already rounded machine and makes it unique. Now I understand its unique to me but I would like to think I have a very simple classy approach to modding this platform. If I could I would like to go a step further and do alittle more to the suspension, maybe play with the motor some, but I dont want to sink that much money into it. I either want to just enjoy it, or let someone else do the same.

I updated the main ad to show the "Sport" classification and to add progress on the rack. Being professionally installed today, by a close friend :-)

If you're 100% up on maintenance there's no reason it's not worth $10k
People don't understand that the cars you get for a bargain needs thousands in maintenance.

the only thing I could think that it could need as "maintenance" would be a cooling system refresh. If the cars around the spring still it will be getting done too.

I usually adhere to the pay attention to your car approach and when something goes wrong, stop and get it fixed IMMEDIATELY. So with the cooling system, I'm currently taking it as a day to day experience. I have no reason to believe its going to fail anytime soon either. It performs without issue and has since I bought it.

peyton, I live in an area like you too... not a ton of these cars around here. And the ones that are arent cheap. You can ride down to Chicago and get a preface lift e46 with 150k for 5 grand. But its quite likely that its going to need lots of little things. If not some big things!

And if your not mechanically savvy and or have a place to do the work.. Its gonna cost alot.

Yeah. I look into used cars a lot and I know the value if records. They can really make or break a car. There's a reason why you see threads on here saying "I HATE BMW! Just bought a car and spent $3k on parts and repairs."

If you want a car that's mechanically sound and in great condition you're going to pay for it.

Yup I paid $6k for a 137k mile 323i and it has needed about $3k worth of maintenance so far and I'm nearly complete. The added benefit of this is that I should be able to get 100k miles out of it before doing any more work again. The cars in this area are either crap or overpriced and still need some work, but I bought my car knowing it needed work and had done my research so I knew what I was getting myself into. Good luck with sale OP, car is gorgeous.

Thanks Ryannel!

Really like the Orientblau color. One of my favs! Behind helrot

I went into this car unaware of the maintenance needed. The car rode straight drove fine. But over time I noticed little things that annoyed me. And while in there did all the maintenance I could find it could possibly need in the areas that I was replacing.

Kinda like this steering rack.. Im going in to replace it, SO i decided to put a rebuilt ZHP rack in and a brand new steering coupler. Not cause it needed the coupler, but i dont feel like having to go back in to do the coupler in 20k when it starts wearing out (hypothetically speaking)

And i dont replace parts with cheap stuff, if its only 100 bucks more to upgrade to a ZHP rack, well im going to do it.

I think that the best part of your comment is knowing that you're probably in your 40's or 50's, and i'm 20 years old. My cars are in excellent condition and I paid for both of them on my own and i'm only 20 years old. If that's not hard work then I don't know what is. I guess you could say that my ZR1 is a barbie corvette, but since when is a corvette with over 400hp stock a barbie car? Hmm riddle me that sir.

Lets start with... Im 28.

I own a 25th anniversary Corvette. A 2000 Aprilia RSV Mille, A 2004 Aprilia RSVR Factory, and a 94 GMC Sonoma ZR2. ALSO I am currently building a '79 C10 pickup with twin turbos on a 4.8 LR4 Motor on TOP of my daily driven BMW

Sorry pal but your vette is NOT 400hp stock. The GEN 2 LT1 Small block 350 engine in your car makes just around 300hp stock. And its a barbie corvette dude. Its the year nothing to do with the motor.

Its fine if you know what your talking about to talk shmack. But in your case its best if you keep it to yourself
