So, did I tell you guys the story of how I broke the tensioner pulley bolt? I guess I left enough in there to hold it on but pray I never have to change it cause I dont know how I'd get it off.........

Im down for a Saturday. Just let me know when. Im gonna try to avoid any major repairs for a minute. My bank account is depleted but I still need to change the belts and rotate tires. Oh and Im about due for an oil change.

I need to pick up a set of easy outs since the only ones I know of went with Jay to Colorado.

Guys, make sure you check your wheel bolts even after a shop checked them for you. Not a fun driving experience with loose bolts!!

I've been there. Car had bad tires when I bought it and couldn't get new ones for a few weeks. They kept vibrating the bolts loose and holy **** is that scary when the whole car starts rocking!

hey do any of you guys know of any good tint shops?? I'm on the Illinois side but I figured St. Louis might give me more options. Plus I want 30% and that's illegal in Illinois so most places give me a hard time about it.

Hi guys! Uh so I've been doing disappearing act. Trying to get everything sorted on the car. Just ordered thermostat, water pump, tranny and rear diff fluids. That should get my temp issues resolved. I got set back by blowing a tire about 110 miles outside of Springfield. Do you know how ****ing hard it is to find a 255/35/18 on a random Saturday in Springfield?? ****ING HARD. I found a pair for $400... Beggars cannot be choosers. Well, should have my parts by next week and get everything sorted by the following weekend. Holy money pit.

hey guys I wanted to introduce myself. I just moved to STL, but my brother has lived here for a while so i am quite familiar with area. We are both huge car guys and more importantly BMW fanatics.

I moved here from Raleigh NC where our BMW community was actually pretty close. What I did there was start a facebook page called simply NCBMW, where all the enthusiasts could go to talk, show off new mods, cars, ask tech help, and most importantly use it as a local classifieds sections. I even used to to spread the word for meets as well. Its a great way to get to know everyone and get closer with the BMW community in STL.

I was wondering if you guys in the area would be interested in this? I want to make a STLbimmers page where we could do the same. Let me know and I will create a page. It was such a great resource in Raleigh for tech help and selling cars/parts.

Also my brother and I started a company a couple years ago called, Moar Designs. Now that I have moved here we have bigger plans for this but as of now we made up a few BMW tshirts and only cost 10 bucks! we plan on hosting some car shows and giving away some free giveaways. Where in STL are you located now? There's three of us around South City, one in St. Charles area, and another in Ballwin... There are others that pop in on occasion, we are all over the place!

There is actually already a stl bmw owners page on fb. Feel free to join. A lot of the kc guys are on there as well
