Time to get rims
I've had my car for a while its a 03 330i sedan, and I'd like to buy new rims for it, I have these in my mind, they're 19x8 and 19x9, I would also like to lower my car, my question is, would this fit or would they be too big and rub? Please be nice and helpful

It all depends on the offset... Mine are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 and fit without rubbing! But if you have a lower offset... then you might have some issues.

You have to give the offset, but visually the offset looks way off.

E46 is strong with this one

I run 18x8 front and 18x9 rear. ET40 offset. And basically that's as big as we can get without any modification needed.

therefore, you will rub. 19's are uncomfortable imo, 18's provide a little more profile and ride comfort. imo.

So size 18 with an offset of 35mm wouldn't do either?

Basically with that offset it will be pushing your rim to far out. Now it can be done but it will take fender work and more pain than it's worth in my opinion. Go talk to VMR or another sponsor we have here for a nice set of 19's and they may end up causing you less money and less headache.

Don't mean to thread jack but I have the same question. I am also looking at the same size wheels 18x8 and 18x9 but the et are 45 front and 48 rear. Is this possible to fit without any mods? Spacers?

19x8.5 ET35/19x9.5 ET45 will work, OP. If the front and rear offset is ET32 on those wheels you were looking at, they'll be a bit too aggressive IMO. You'd need to do some fender work.

Yeah I don't want fender work involved I want to keep it simple. Thanks for the help, I've seen 19x8.5 ET35/19.9.5 ET40, a guy above said ET40 would work fine. Would it?

We recommend ET45 on the rear just to make sure. You should be able to run a 235/35/19 and 255/30/19 tire without an issue as long as you stick to our offset recommendations.

18x9 ET35 sticks out a little over 3mm further than the 18x9.5 ET45 size that we recommend.
