Mtech bumper coupe/sedan question

Is there any way to tell the coupe/sedan mtech bumpers from Khoalty apart? I have been having problems getting it lined up and I'm thinking he may have given me the wrong one. I was living with it until I can get it back to my buddy's shop but the weather is a little nicer here today so I decided to give it a try myself. It seems like I have to push the sides in too far, causing a plastic "hump" on the outside radius on both sides. I'll post a pic if anyone needs to see what I'm talking about.

If it has rub strips it's for sedan. No strips coupe.

Even not being oem, I thought people around here who run them had a pretty good fit. Mine is terrible. Seriously looks like its 2" too wide. It sticks past the fenders on both sides. Maybe ill try the csl?

not really, most of the ones i've seen had bad to ok fitment (the rear bumper is the one with good fitment). it takes a lot of work to make it fit right. i don't think the CSL would do any good either.

You purchased a coupe bumper and you have a sedan. Sell the bumper and save until you have enough for the OEM front bumper.

My khoalty bumper fit perfectly! If you have the right bumper, it should fit! Maybe there is a problem with installation. Check all brackets and make sure everything lines up.

According to the previous posts I have the right one. Mine has the molding strips. Maybe just bad luck on the batch?

I bought my full M-Tech kit from Braman BMW for $1023 shop price. It brought every clip, bolt, bracket for the installation. Mine had to be order from Germany and mistakenly they sent a kit for a euro market car. I lucked out because the front bumper didn't bring the holes for the front corner reflectors and a front euro plate holder was included.

I think I paid around $1200 for my M-tech 2 back in the day. The shipping costs can get you.
CSL one would run about $3800

Thats what I've heard. For some reason it looks like the bumper is too wide. My body guy looked at it and it's mounted correctly.
