OEM ones are not plug and play but they sell a retrofit kit for them. But you can buy plug and play aftermarket ones that look just like OEM.

Oh and btw make sure you get them for a vert. Coupe tail lights don't fit.

Here ya go....and you might need a LCM reflash like I did on my '02. I have OEM's, if yours are not OEM you will not need this link. http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E46-330...ight/ES161762/

I couldn't justify that kinda loot for the OEM ones as much as I wanted them. Ended up scoring an EE set on here for $200 I think.
All the resistors and stuff are in them. Plug and play. Never an error light.

Didnt want to run into the "LED out" nightmare that some have encountered. Then ended up having to buy a new pair and spending another $200+. So I just went oem...It was just $545, no biggie.....

Youre obviously ballin' and I'm Fallin. So yeah. $500+ for taillights. NOT happening.
Plus I've never had an issue with taillight errors or led out with my aftermarket LEDs.
