Any tips?

I think I'm going to learn how to swap pads again. It seems as some of these high performance pads aren't great for DD (cold, lack of initiate bite). KALIMMMMMMMMMMMMMM~~~~~~~~~~
Yep, lol.
I have that problem on the E30 since it has some aggressive pads for AutoXing. I made a habit of warming the pads up a little on my way out of the neighborhood.

-You are fat stop being fat.
-I don't usually eat right after workouts, usually something like 2 hours later. Just lots of water and a multivitamin most of the time.
-Rarely the case for me. Dinner is usually around 8, and bedtime is usually like 1am.

Btw, pardon my ignorance. What's bedding the rotor means?
Are you getting pad fad, fluid boiling, or both, and with what current pads and fluid?

I don't have the diff bushings tools. I do have threaded rod to make some, though. Haven't measured to see what receiver cups I'll need.

That's a lot of it. There is also the issue of burning off all the binders from the pad construction that off-gas the first few times they heat up(this is a big one), getting the surface of the pad and rotor to wear until they have full contact with each other, and wearing the rust resistant coating off coated rotors.

Also, what you mentioned is cohesive friction, but some abrasive friction is also happening, and it's usually a balance between higher fade resistant abrasive friction versus lower temperature but higher bite cohesive friction to slow the car down.
