Ahem... 1. It doesn't matter. 2. Whatever you prefer. Yes, it's that easy and simple. What he said. Me, personally, I just leave it as I got it. I couldn't be bothered taking off 25 wrappers when buying a box of cigars. I just throw the box in the humidor and Bob's you're uncle. Quote:

Heading to the local Serious Cigars store here after work to snag the Boveda humidification packs to replace the stock unit. Id like to get the hygrometer to read right at 70, as opposed to 65-67 that its reading at right now.
edit: and need to unpackaged every cigar.

Or PG solution right? I was going to check and see if the store had Pyrolene Glycol (sp?) solution because I was reading about the greatness of that product for expelling fungus and keeping the box proper.

Yeah well this one is only for us in tx. Lol jk. But I haven't had a Monte Cristo before so I'm certainly excited to try.
Also, snagged a 72% boveda pack while I was there. Should be perfect for my setup.

Anything Arturo Fuente. Moderately priced. I would assume down there the prices are better, plus you are getting a fresher cigar for the price! They have cigars ranging from like $3-4/stick and up.
But there are other good brands. Avo, Macunudo, Cusano. Hell, you're in DR, ask around, they probably know the best ones!
