Ski Pass Through Sub non HK system

Hey guys I just picked up a HK ski pass sub for my vert and put it in just for sake of the door but now Im thinking of hooking the sucker up. Anyone done this before? Can it be wired direct to the system or will I need a small amp? Any advise would be great.

Yes ya can buddy. I just De-installed mine & sold it on ebay. I decided to add an aftermatket subwoofer & amp. So, I unplugged it, removed it from the plastic surround, & voila.

If you look at the very top part of the square plastic surround, fiddle around in there, you will see the Plastic harness Plug that goes directly into the plug harness that is coming out of your subwoofer. If you dont see it coming out of your subwoofer, dismantle it, it will be inside the plastic housing but dont worry, its there.

Same thing with the car, it has the plug at the Very top of the skipass plastic surround. Ya have to poke around behind the carpet. Best of Luck.
