not to mention the fact that all people spot differently. I've had people yank the bar up on me and others, which I like, just guide it up lightly with their fingers.

some dude almost made me drop the bar on my chest the other day. I said I was going for 5, and to only help if I said.

On the 5th rep (which I had) he starts smacking the bar up with his hands, so it would take the tension off my chest and then it would come right back without me ready for it... I didn't say anything but wtf???

That's when you look them dead in the eye and say, "Look f@cker! Spot right or don't spot me at all!"

Oh I see you didn't throw this rep up the way you did when we were fresh, let me just rip it out of your hands and put it back for ya.

I've been doing the 5x5 strong lifts for the past few months and I swear this sh1t works!

I'm at 230 # back squat now for 25 reps , 200# chest , 135# strick press, and 160# barbell row

I'd NEVER be able to do these amount reps before

Hopefully I can continue

did 205 for 2 today after my upper body power day workout. Guy came into the gym (and I was only guy in free weight) and he asked me if I wanted to work in. Did negatives with 225, couldn't get it up all the way without help but close. That feels like some heavy ass weight man!!! WOOHOOOOO

Um... So many things wrong with these numbers. Makes me think it's not believable.

I believe he means 25 reps total not straight. 5x5=25 reps. Those numbers are totally believable and pretty much where I was on SS.

haha I say swag 8 times a day because it annoys people. I say it at the stupiest times too. Dinners done...swag. q-tipped my ears...swag.

But you're looking good man. Very lean too. What is your weight and current workout?

So this is probably backwards but I'm moving on to a 5x5 routine.

Day A
-Squats 5x5
-BB Bench press 5x5
-BB Rows 5x5
-DB incline bench 3x6
-ez curl 3x12

Day B
-Barbell deadlift 5x5
-Barbell military press 5x5
-Weighted pullups 5x5
-tricep pulldowns 3x12

I just finished my first day A and holy **** I am spent. Gonna eat my post workout now.
