If you find a screaming deal on a 240 setup, just buy a generator with a 240 outlet and you're all set!

I'll stay loyal to them, all I care about is the lifetime warranty on hand tools. I don't work in a shop so as often as I use tools anything really would be good enough.

I live in a townhome playa, I can't be running a generator. I think the miller will be more than great for what I need. I'm just trying to get a head start on tools before I move home. I already have all the hand tools I need, I've almost got all the air tools I need, I have a good enough compressor (probably buy a bigger one when I move home), working on a welder, have the two post lift picked out, and I'm working on things like ban saw/drill press etc. I just want a one stop shop so myself and all of you guys have not only a place to work on cars but a place to chill. Thus I also need seating and a big screen I guess. Maybe a keg as well.

Just spent a few hours driving around in the snow. I love my truck.

So I got two snow day out of this storm. I didn't put my snow tires on, but even if I did it's too deep for my car to get anywhere.

I was going to drive down to Rolla tomorrow

Pussies.

I got to work at 6am with no snow on the ground, left around 9:30 so I could work nightshift. Had to take a prius driving co-worker home in Raymore, got that done around 1pm...then got back to work at 6pm, forgot my ID, got back to work at 7pm...and now I finally have internet so I can waste time, lol.

I had a blast driving around all day, truck never even got close to getting stuck! Plowed through a few snow banks, drove down the highway on the wrong side, weaved around stupid car drivers...the works!

Well the family and I went out to dinner, we took the E70 X5. My mom didn't even want to get in the car with me driving. The X5 did alright for only having "highway" (not mud and snow) all seasons on it. The more modern ABS and DSC systems are really nice. On the way back my dad was telling me that it wouldn't get stuck. The last thing I wanted to do was get stuck with my mom and sister, but we did. I just turned off dsc, rolled it back, then punched it forward and we got unstuck eventually. BMW X-Drive can split torque up to 100% to either the front or rear axle, but the two diffs are open.

I love driving in the snow but I didn't put the snows on and anything over a few inches and my car sucks because its low.
