Ms42 tuning help

does anyone have an xdf file or a winols 1.5 map pack, even just some addresses and factors. I have a copy of the ms41tuning guide but unfortunately the ms 41 and ms42 are different so the guide only goes so far as to the general idea of tuning the 42. is their a tuning guide for the ms42 that I haven't come accross yet, preferably in English. I have a US model bmw '99 323i build date 5/99 with the m52tub25. dme is the Siemens ms42 with the eu2 flash. I have the bin file off of my own dme pulled with galletto 1260 if it is needed

I have an ever growing collection of bins and xdf files but nothing specific for the ms42, all ms41 or ms43, I also havent been able to get my hands on a good working winols download.

I have the ms43 xdf and a tuned file for a ms42 2.8

I foun a working copy of winols 2.24 without the checksums, also found 1.7 supposed to have the checksums but haven't trie it yet.

Ms43 has 64kb dumps whereas ms42 has 32kb dumps.

I also found a couple of guys that charge around $200 for the xdf files. And it's not easy at all to make them, I downloaded the damos files and might as well have been mandarin...

Also I have no problem sharing everything I have but without a centralized thread it will e a waste of time as eventually it will get buried and lost in the forums... I would do it myself but I have ADD and get lost in the sauce easily so....

You're talking about using pirated software with someone who actually owns a copy. I'm afraid I can't help you, then. If you've seen what the MSS54 guys have done getting together to crack their ECU maybe you will start a thread to do the same. It is really easy. Good luck.
