Bumping this thread for a few reasons.

One, you guys all dumped in A LOT of helpful advice in here and it makes it a pretty solid thread.

Some good laughs in this thread, dwass telling me I can't spot train fat, and solly laughing at my pwo shakes. I was doing whole milk with protein powder, banana, peanut butter, and creatine... lmao not a cutting shake so I've learned.

I'm 20 days into my diet and I went from 234 to 224 when I weighted in today. This was coming off a two day rest period at -30 below maintenance, and I know how much weight fluctuates, but I'll take it.

I've been on a -30/-10 and I started squatting 2-3 days a week and incorporated deadlifts once a week into my workout.

I'm only doing 1g protein/lb body weight but could prob do more. Some people say you should do it for your lean mass only, so in that case I would be well over 1g

You can check out my food log and tell me where I'm fk'n up at, but it's workin out so far. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/330tiag

I haven't tried 1rm for squats and deads but my flat bench is around 275.
