My screen is very bright, I see it fine in sun. If it was any brighter my eyes would burn during night.

My Ride: Corvette, 330ci
Picking up my '03 330ci next week, and I'm already researching what to do with the stereo. I have been reading through the Dynavin threads. It looks to be a pretty impressive unit, and I do like the *stock-ish* look of it.

I do have a question or two, regarding the WinCE unit. My car does *not* have factory navi. It appears, from reading, that this unit is entirely plug and play into the factory wiring harness, no splicing required. Is that correct? Additionally, it looks like the Dynavin includes the bluetooth mic and iPod cable without ordering them extra? The last thing that I can't figure out for sure is this. Connecting everything up, are the steering wheel controls available, or is there an extra unit/adapter/connector required to be purchased to enable those?

Thanks!

^^^^^^^ g-rex , eveything you mention is included and it is pug and play, even the steering wheel buttons will work.
But for best functionality, you need to buy a rear view camera if u want one as well as 2 flushmount usb extension cables and one 1/8 flushmount headphone cable. Look at Jeff's site....its all there (Parts and info).

Thanks. After I posted I found a couple of pictures that explained what I was asking. Par for the course.

I guess the only question I have now is if the units are available now or if they are in short supply.

Your site is currently out of stock and I'm itching to hit the "buy" button.

E46 D99+ Android.

Please let me know if you have any additional information about the unit. Thanks.

One more question Jeff...

Does the Dynavin backup camera attach to one of the license plate lights? Looking at the photo on the website, it's hard to tell if it clips to it or exactly what is going on. Thanks!

Yes, it replaces the entire lens.

No trick, download the "toolbox", put the card in, select Dynaivn D9X as the model.

Hi Guys

I'm looking to upgrade my factory nav on my 03 M3 to Dynavin D99. Is this unit simply plug n play when I remove my factory nav or is there special cables/wiring I will need?

Sent from my myTouch_4G_Slide using Bimmer App

Hi, Jeff. Have you heard any word from Dynavin on updating the D99+ IPod connector to the new connector design? I am using the apple adaptor which works fine, but just thought I'd ask.

Hey Jeff,

I have a couple of questions:
One: I cannot install APK's directly to SD Card, I updated the ROM to the latest Dynavin Rom from the Dynavin Website. I finally got a USB hub in there working and have Wifi and Bluetooth both working at the same time. Right now, everything works except that I cannot install APK's directly to SD Card.

Two: The links to the Dynavin Hacks on one of your earlier posts are mostly broken. Do you have links to the ROM's or can you email them to me?

If anyone wants to know which USB hub works, just ping me and I'll let you know. It cost about $5.

Thanks,
John

The sound quality is very good. Indistinguishable from the stock system. Even playing music from iPhone through Bluetooth tether is excellent.

Its good, using BSW upgrade. However, using aux with the OEM radio was alittle better. And songs with high notes (rock songs) dont go well over bluetooth
