i know I would die under a 135lb bench press @ 18, considering at 19 I started with the bar + 10 lbs.

I'll go ahead and embarrass myself on here since I could use the criticism and jokes for motivation...
This is a year ago - end of Feb. 2012 - right before I got back in the gym after a couple years out, having gotten to the point of disgust with my appearance and lack of strength...absolutely pathetic... ![]() ![]() And then, starting about 6-8 weeks later after going 7 days a week with a friend who happens to be a trainer, amateur body builder and power lifter, then a couple moths into and finally just at the end of May after 3 months of constant training and eating a lot, a lot healthier, etc, just before my back injury and then my subsequent fractured heel... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And back to this pathetic shell... ![]() ![]() Now back in the gym, starting back up, hoping to improve dramatically on where I was before... |

It seems like you don't stand up straight (..or purposely round yourself for the pictures).

Your mixes are just about all I listen to when I hit the gym. Appreciate you sharing those with you. Love Dubstep while lifting, and just started listening to some of your Trance mixes. |

Timeline
Alright, I was able to dig up a couple things..
Im currently 6'1ish and 196lbs. All through high school I was about the same height, but never weighed over 155lbs. The first pic is in HS maybe around 2003 or 2004 or so, just played sports. 2nd pic I had started the gym 3 months prior to that, so that's in sept. 2006 3rd pic is Jan 2007, about 7 months into the gym 4th Pic was about the best ive ever looked in my opinion, this might have been after a year and some going to the gym. I then graduated College in late 2008, got a desk IT job... and went downhill from there. stopped working out, thinking I wouldn't lose it and i'm sure you know the rest. So fast fwd 3+ years to 2012 and thats the 5th and 6th pic. 5 & 6th pic about January or Feb of 2012, lost everything. About 205lbs here 7th pic is sometime around the summer of 2012 when I picked up triathlons. 8th pic was last night, this is after a month and some of crossfit. Im starting to see results, that self motivation kicks in, and now hoping to get back in shape. |

I would prepare large meals at home, and eat one around 8-9 am and one around 12-1 pm.
If you aren't working out, something like a couple chicken thighs (or porkchop/steak/ground beef etc), vegetables and a salad would really fill you up. If you are working out that day, a footlong subway sandwich for each meal wouldn't be a bad idea either. Or homecooked chicken with veggies and brown rice/pasta. Knowing your situation better I could give better advice

Yeah like dabears said..
I'll cook up around 3 lbs of chicken breasts and divide them into portions of 11-12 ounce portions and throw them in the fridge. Also make a 2lb meatloaf, [lean turkey 97/3].. for the week. Few filets of salmon or tilapia... Prepare some tuna. Dice up an onion or two, a bundle of green onions, some red peppers and steam a few cups of rice. It's much easier to spend 1-2 hours cooking so you can live comfortably for the next few days. I've discovered if you have food ready to go, you are less likely to make poor choices as to what you eat.
