Sometimes it's even better to talk to strangers than your closest friends. You can't be more right I totally agree with you though. I'm gonna try and calm a little not talk to her for few days then call her up and put my foot down. You have no idea how frustrated I am right now and when it comes to maturity level I think I am well mature for my age and I treat her like she's in paradise. I travel alot and I always bring her with me and everything is on me all the time I just can't have a girl pay for herself when she's with me. Pay her tickets, restaurants and everything else and when I might ask her for a little favor and she would hesitate sometimes. Like for real? After all the **** that I've done for you.

I agree with what you just said, OP. venting to people who will just tell you like it is without knowing you or caring is sometimes a very good way to get some perspective (even if it's filled with sarcasm and humor mostly lol).

with respect to reciprocating care and generosity, I've been down that path so many times. I'm pretty stupid in spoiling the sh*t out of girls, have been my whole life. just part of what makes me happy when I see their response. Only 3 girls haven't taken me for granted; was engaged to the first one, married the second one, and now in the process of marrying the third. lots of time and money spent in between lol.

If you're serious about ending the relationship, end the relationship. DO NOT spend the money right away. Put it away and don't touch it for a while. Be single for a bit and let that determine if you really are done with her. Don't screw around with marriage. If you screw it up, it can be a nightmare and cost a ton of money. Half the guys I work with have been divorced at least once, and it's absolutely the biggest nightmare I've ever seen. It should be a no-brainer and something you shouldn't have to think about. If you look at your relationship with her and know you will be with her in 20yrs, that's a good sign of marriage material. If you're not sure, move on. Either you aren't ready, or she isn't right. Either way, don't do it unless you are absolutely sure.

As far as the money, why the hell would you be spending $25k of your own money on a wedding? Or was it for a house? If it's for a wedding, that's wasted money. Especially if you're the only one putting money into it.

And... lock away your cash for a little while until you sort yourself out. As others said, don't lose the girl and the cash!

If things still don't work out, 8K for SC kit, get a deposit together and buy a house. Build a nice car, pick up women and have somewhere to take them.

It's still hanging somehow but I'm not sure if I even wanna do this anymore. I much appreciate everyone's thoughts and so I am looking for land to buy for now.
