Brad, I would change that one red line. It goes against the flow of other lines of the helmet and your eye is drawn to the weird sharp angle.

Whats up group, just stumbled on this thread. I've owned a 328i for a few years now but rarely drove it until this year. Bought a house so had to sell the fancy DD lol.

Just put new suspension on it last week and bought all the necessary parts for the 5spd swap.

Does anyone local have access to coding?

I believe a guy from the KC BMW Club did an auto to manual swap on his e46 (Greg Lippert). Not sure if he looks at this particular forum...but, you could find him on the kcbmwclub.com forums. Pretty sure he has all the coding information.

Im putting together a DIY day at my place sometime end of next month or sometime in May. Going to have a few guys from STL come down, a few from Columbia, and my buddy Steph (P0lar on M3F) which know all about the coding on e46s.

Will post more details later in the next few weeks... I better see some of you KC guys there

Sad that I can't be there. I look forwarding to hosting a number of these when I get a garage fitted with a lift.

Neil's thread has given me a lot of confidence in the swap and since i have a GM tranny i can connect a jumper to get the car started. Thanks for the info. I'll check out the local forum too.

Hi there. I have 3 e46. 2000 328i with 228k. 2003 325i with 90k and 2003 330i with 110k.

My 2000 blew out a bunch of tranny fluid trying to get going when it was really cold and now it goes into limp mode.

Can anyone recommend a good honest indy in the KC area that will be fair (just want to add some tranny fluid.)?

Thanks so much!

I sold my gaming chair, what would you buy. A new Miller MIG Welder or a new Burton Snowboard/bindings/boots? GO.
