I bought two transmission mounts, Meyle HD Lower Control Arms and HD control arm bushings shipped to my door for $378. I bought these parts from FCP Euro. I also bought some Corteco motor mounts from ebay. The motor and transmission mounts will have to wait until I recuperate from replacing the LCAs lol.

Dealer did: oil change, 545i shifter and zhp knob. Might take a little time to get use to the increased effort/slight increase in notchyness.

Front wheel bearing, bilstein touring struts...the sachs oe failed after 3 years. Last week Control Arms and meyle cabs.

Now, to move my wheels to the rear to hide this tiny vibration I still have...once again a flat spot that balances but which I still feel.

Almost there.

That looks fantastic. I just ordered the ZHP shift knob myself and i'm looking for a short shifter kit....I think. You just sold me on a new shift boot though

Well in a few hours I will be tackling the rear differential bushing with a friend of mine. I might go ahead and change the oil too since it's been 10k since the last.

How are you liking the Bilstein's? I've really enjoyed mine... so much better than the blown OE setup I had.

Oil change, bled the rear brakes, rotated the tires, and cleaned and regreased my caliper guide bolts up front. Also found a leak in my ET where the top meets the tank portion. It's less than year old.

I've been running the solid caliper bushings. Everything looked good. A little extra grease traps any dirt so the guide bolts were spotless.

Ugh, can I justify spending $300 at ECS for completely new center console pieces...

My blown shocks weren't all gone, but the new ones feel fine...about the same as I recall. Truth is, my car feels about the same as it did before.

My CAs were fine with 100K plus miles on them...CABs totally shot though. But those who say CAs last only a few years, underestimate the strength of these guys I think.

Just finished up with the diff bushing install; about 6 hours from beginning to end but I definitely took my time and the tool made life so much easier. Can definitely tell a difference... absolutely no clunking in reverse and it doesn't clunk at all when downshifting to pass like it used to. Very happy with it.

Just installed an AutoZone 94RDLG battery. Had a slow ass crank this morning. Old battery was from July 2008.
