My experience with Collinite 845

Bought this wax the past weekend. Ended up detailing 4 cars with it. Each car got 2 coats. The Durango got a coat of Liquid Glass first. My thoughts are:

- Thx to E46Mango for posting his video on this stuff. This is the first I've seen/heard about this product. That's the trigger for me to research this product. The beauty of it is that its made in my hometown - Utica NY. Wild!
I can't find anyone bashing this product, except for the bottle design and smell. Both are livable. Minor in my book.
- The coverage goes on very EASY. Once the pad/cloth is saturated, it goes a LONG way. I used a cut-off sock and cut it in half and apply it by hand. My fingers/hand is sore as hell, but you will know how much goes on and what the coverage is. I don't buy into the quote "less is more", but proper coverage is what you should achieve and 2 coats will guarantee it.
- The shine is brilliant, the touch is slippery and the protection durability will be reported as I go. I ended up spilling about 2 OZ of the Collinite by putting it on the car.

The evidence is in the pictures. See those attached. The yellow Focus is my daughters. Got side swiped the VERY NEXT day driving to school. The durability of this wax is legendary, but not to the level to provide protection on this kind of crash

The 3rd picture is a 2011 Durango and the 4th picture is an LS400. I didnt' get a picture of my 04-325Cic though. Trust my, it looks stunning and the touch in unreal - smooth as glass.

If you want to buy this stuff, I can get it from a distributor for $12 in NC. Shipping charges apply for those not local. PM me if interested. This stuff is amazing!

Yes. This brings out the color of the car and then it's topped with 2 coats of collinite. Pretty good combination especially for red cars.

I had one guy tell me congrats on the new Durango. Told him its 1.5 years old.
