Visiting North Carolina/South Carolina in Mid-March

My dad n i be heading down towards , we Myrtle Beach/Surfside Beach area after hitting Tail of The Dragon in mid March. I'll be in my Mk5 and my dad will be on him BMW bike. That place is an enormous tourist trap, there is always something going on, entertaining or not. Are you both driving/riding from MN?

I'm driving from Duluth to Chicago. Then my Dad is riding his bike and i am driving Das Auto. Going to be carrying his gear so he can have more fun on his bike.

Anywhere in particular that you know where the hot college girls would be?

I try my best to stay away from that area because I hate the beach, but Coastal Carolina has a big nursing school. In addition to great looking girls, they have some uhhh....different dudes. What sort of Beamer does your old man have?

My dad's got a 2003 BMW K Series. Not sure what engine he's got though. He started with an 1985 K Series.

Our plans have kind of changed and i think we're going to be going down to Charleston instead of Myrtle Beach. I figure there's more to do, more to eat, and more to see in Charleston.

Any suggestions around there?

Charleston is a much more interesting place to visit. I don't know any specific places but if you walk down the main strip, there are quite a few great places to eat, drink, etc.

You will love Charleston - 4 colleges, 3 of them liberal arts school - 7-1 girl to guy ratio downtown. Go to King Street for fun at bars but stay South of 17. East Bay/Meeting/Market St. has some fun places but generally anywhere in the DT area is going to be good. Pm me if you have any other questions or specific places to go. Have fun.
