Vancouver 10w60 oil change kits - $80

i recently picked up my e46 m3 and started to research a lot of parts for the car and notice how unreasonable some prices are for local people!

I work at a shop called PG performance which specialize in Audi and VW (which I previously owned) and I can get any parts from ECS tuning and turner motorsports. we are official retailers for those two company in Vancouver.

I know that Ecs sells these oil change kits which is basically 6 L of oil and a filter for almost $100 plus shipping.

I talked to my supplier and put together a special for us m3 owners that require this stupid 10w60 oil.

$80 plus hst package
6 L of liqui moly race tech 10w60 fully synthetic oil
1 Mann German filter

if you want an oil change done its $110 plus hst

I used to go to PG when I had my mk4 gti. Any deals on any other bmw ll-01 oil and filter?

good price, even compared to US price, I will definitely consider that for next change

H&R RSS clubsport. just got here this morning! will be going in this weekend with fresh front strut mounts, bearings and the reinforcement plates from ECS tuning : )

I checked out some prices for nonM oil change packages for a fellow member on the board this morning.

Liqui Moly engine oil
Synthetic 5W30

OE Approved BMW Longlife-04

It'll be $48 for 5L. they come in 5L jugs only.

The filter is going to be $8. It's a Mann filter from Germany

I can always get 3 jugs so it's good for two oil change + 1 extra liter for the in between!

If you get 3 jugs + 2 filter I can bring it down to $144 for the package, basically giving you the filters for free! Equivalent of $72 per oil change.

We can do the labor for an additional $29.50 if you want to book it in : )

castrol imo isn't that great. but the 10w60 is probably good stuff.

No offense, but liquid Moly is not the same as castrol and you think castrol is not that great? It's the only thing BMW dealers use is BMW castrol oil.

And e46 need BMW longlife 01 not 04.

I'm not trying to belittle your business or anything.

sorry if you're taking it personally but i'm just trying to say most oil is very similar in their quality control.

like i said before i had no experience with the TWS oil as of yet as i am new to the game so I strictly speak on behalf of my previous experience with german castrol when applied to audi and volkswagens. They're listed specifically for castrol as well but that is because of a deal struck between VAG and castrol to recommend their products.

just from a little bit of research i did based on the comparison of these oils. most people are reporting they're equal in performance.

both of these reputable websites list this oil specifically stated for M motors.

i don't think you're belittling the company i am employed at. i'm trying to help out where i can with the community as that's what i like to do as a hobbyist : )

Can you get a set of M3 OEM rear pads? if so, price?

Where are you located? I'll try the metal masters, they have good reviews and I cannot find any complaints of rattles unlike the Hawk HPS pads I current have that have a few complaints of rattles.
