Rough idle and power loss

Turned on the EML light and the ASC light then as I gave it gas so I can come back home and it didn't want to pick up speed and it was vibrating/shaking a lot. Eventually I made it home so I let the car sit for like a half hour and the it started normally took it for a drive and everything was good. But I want why did that happen?
So I checked the engine and I found a ripped intake boot. Don't know if that can be the cause off the problem? Also can it the idle control vavle (icv)? Someone please help. |
