Solvent Silver?

I have an insane ability to lose and gain weight with little effort... however when I'm serious about cutting or bulking... I often see the most progress just as I am getting sick, and come down with something that undoes the past 2 weeks of exercise and dieting.

I was in my Portuguese class when my Brazilian friend asked me how often I'm sick, and I told him at least 6 times a year (excluding minor colds or bad allergy days). He recommended me solvent silver and that he takes it daily as a part of his multi-vitamin regimen and he hasn't been sick in over a year.

Is it worth adding to my daily supplements? I used to get sick even more often until I got my tonsils and adenoids removed... it hurts my progress often and hard.

What is your diet like? That is almost guaranteed to be the source of your problems.

Drinking silver is a stupid practice based on bad science. If you are a fan of the X-Men and want to turn blue, you might like its side-effects though.

Reminds me of The 5 People You Meet In Heaven. Although honestly, I doubt that the silver supplement the kid was recommending has nearly as much silver nitrate that causes people to turn blue.

On a more serious note, are you pushing yourself super hard in the gym? I pushed myself way too hard in my early- and mid-20s and it impacted my health (got colds and stuff all the time.) You might just be pushing yourself too hard - lifting too much, not resting enough, not eating well enough, etc.

Sometimes in life, the "less is more" approach really works.

Granted, the dude did it for years to get that way, but it's still absolute 100% BS that (no offense to your friend) is only embraced by people who are scientifically illiterate.

I think I am pushing myself too hard. I often find myself sweating profusely with little to 0 cardio involved in a workout. I'll probably get back to a 5x5 routine again and stick to 6 or less lifts a day. I usually only end up with 6 hours a day to rest as well... gonna try to bump it up to 8 once I get better and start lifting again. Going to take cold showers more often as well.

As of right now my diet consists of breakfast/lunch/dinner. I don't eat out often and drink at least 1/2 gallon of milk, 1/2 gallon of water, and at least 2 cups of OJ a day. For breakfast I have at least 2 eggs and toast. Sandwiches for lunch, and home cooked meals for dinner.

I work as a server at a restaurant many shifts a week so I'm probably just getting sick often from all the flu and cold bugs that have been going around this season.
