Its alot of $$$ and not worth it. Harmonics is the big issue on the 330...

PEI posted a dyno graph a couple years back (no idea where it came from or where it is now) but it was from someone's b30 build that made about 300whp NA revving to around 8k rpm and if i remember correctly, it also had the ITBs from a s54 attached to the head. aside from an ATI harmonic balancer and the vaio (spelling?) re-engineered oil pump at a minimum, there are other things you'll need. PEI would be the best to answer your question so hopefully he'll pop in here and share his knowledge.

im looking to buy oil engine intercooler.

So im think, Earl's Performance Fluid Cooler, Plate Type, Aluminum, Gray, 3 in. x 13 in. x 2 in., -8 AN Inlet/Outlet, Each - would me good to use. What do you think?

I also got m3 oil filtering system, it has the ability to connect an external radiator. But i dont know at that moment what oil lines and what fittings i must buy to connect them together.

Anyone could help?

Thanks!

Who can tell me the smallest pulley I can use wi my Rotrex c38 81 ?

Aa says 80mm - 14psi and close to Rotrex 90k limit, but as says Rotrex map it cab make 1.7bar of pressure.
So I can't figure out.. please, give some more info.

I believe the revs on m54b30 are limited by the harmonics issue above 6K and hydraulic lifters above 7k.
Dropping the compression and raising boost is likely going to be cheaper.

Here is the formula for the M54 motors.

5.525(OEM Damper)/3.15(80mm Pulley)*7.5(Drive Ratio)*7000(RedLine) = 92083.33 Impeller Speed

5.525(OEM Damper)/3.35(85mm Pulley)*7.5(Drive Ratio)*7000(RedLine) = 86585.82 Impeller Speed

5.525(OEM Damper)/3.54(90mm Pulley)*7.5(Drive Ratio)*7000(RedLine) = 81938.56 Impeller Speed

If AA told you going 80mm Pulley put you close to Max Impeller Speed is wrong. It pass the recommend Spec for that Charger. You will be OverDriving it 2083.33RPM on the impeller side of the charger and will be void from Rotrex Warranty.

Thank you!

It is doable with the correct internals and parts.

Bottom end needs to be stronger.

You need to work on the head, use longer duration camshafts.... etc.

Lots of work, but can be done.

Lets say you build your engine the correct way and rev 8000 rpm w/o problems.

Now as you have a supercharger, you need a higher capacity charger, put this note in the equation.

At the end of the day whatever you will do it will be less powerfull than a S54.

I would start with a S54.

Thank you all!

I know the turbo'd s54 is going to be much better, but it is much more expensive to do.

so, m54b30 85mm pulley and 7400 rpm limit and 11,5 PSI

do i need to change my pistons at that case? or i can use stock ones with water\methanol system?

Is it will be enough to get VAC oil pump upgrade or should i put better one and x4 more expensive?

And i want to make a lot work with head - hard pushers, porting etc But i really dont know what camshafts would be the best for me? Im thinking about 272\280. What do you recomend for me? thank you!
