Car for Mumzie

We have 17,000 to spend on a car for mum. She thinks she likes corolla's and camry's, we're not so sure.
Any good and bad views appreciated.
We would like to get her an e46 exec but sometimes with the oldies they think BMW are to posh for them, will still try though some other options would be good .
She's 70 still walks for half an hr a day and says she touches her toes 20 times each morning, Gotta luv em.

Cheers: banghead:

Get her an 09/10 Corolla Conquest. 13-14k, reliable, will hold resale value much better than an e46.

The corolla does look good so far.
Took an 2011 Hyundai I30 for a drive on RAC's recommendation, they rank it best small for 2013 with previous years ranked high,
it still feels like a buzz box.
A ford dealership has 2011 focus's with 26,000 ks for 17,000 they also look good will test drive on the weekend.
Thanks for the input

Definitely. Easy to drive and park. Light steering so no pressure on the arms and shoulders. Servicing should be cheap too.

My two bobs

A 70yr old shouldn't be driving a 10yr old e46 or **insert another old car here ** for that matter. Brand new or ex demo, reliable, dime a dozen car that wont see her needing to call you or the RAA because of ***insert problem related to owning an old heap of shit car here***. Happy mum, Happy son
