And again, I don't know As much as others on here... But where the heck could my mechanic going wrong? I mean, literally, how can you get confused about putting a wheel on a car?

Are there certain things he could be doing wrong?

Just go do it yourself and then you'll know for certain. Easy as that!

Oh I apologize for coming off rude... not my intention. But your mechanic can say all he wants. If it were me, and I knew for a fact I ordered the right wheels, the first thing I would do is go check it out in person. No amount of questions here can tell you what is wrong until you go see it first hand.

The wheels are not for an m3 the offset is too high. Go to a wheel shop.

Well guys....

I sold the wheels the wheels to another member. I chose to buy a new set from modbargains this time. What they recommended was 18x8.5 et 40.

I purchased a set of Alufelgen CS7 wheels.

They shipped out fast and great, great, customer service from those guys over at Modbargains.
