e46 m3 vf stage 2 intake manifold water level and air bleed

hi to all

i have a e46 m3 with vf stage 2 2003


i want to know what is the intake manifold water level and how bleed air from the sc cooler ?

i live in kuwait and it is here very hot it goes over 122f

My Ride: HPF Stage 2.75
You want it full to the top so that you plug pushes a little water out, your pump should be running 100% of the time when the cars running. Keep the car running while you have the plug out, keep pouring water in until it starts to come out. Put the plug in and your good to go!

thanks for u help

these days the weather is very hot it is going to 122f

i noticed that the car gets hoter when i fill it to the top i noticed that in traffic or when the car stops

i don't know why any help do i need to add water wetter or bmw blue water in my sc cooling system ?

Wetter water will help. Remember your engine temp is seperate from your VF set up. Check your fan clutch to make sure it's working right! Good luck!

So did bleeding the air out of the system solve the problem? I have a stage ii vf and the same symptoms, (car temp gauge starts creeping up to red with the ac on ...)

Check your fan clutch.

hi,i have vf stage 2 and i find small funnel while pump is working fill it and how much system need it,ll take it as need itand turn ign off c it may take it more,also used water wetter addive its keeps it coler

Well just giving an update for any Vf guys having these technical difficulites. My car was running warm because the engine mounts were bad causing the engine to sit further back in the engine bay causing the radiator fan to scrape against the plastic housing on the radiator causing the fan to spin slower and less freely. So I had the engine mounts and fan replaced, upgraded to hpf fan clutch and problem solved.
