Nice crotch shot.

There should be accessory rails that came with the rail that you can attach to the rail. Put a rail section on the bottom of the handguard tube, and then you attach the grip to the rail.

FYI everyone, RainierArms had BCM lowers in stock tonight for all of about 2 minutes. Yep, I didn't get one. Again. This is fucking ridiculous. I only need one. RA needs to go from a 2 lower max to a 1 lower per person max.

Yeah I got the email about the lowers too and I missed out by like 20 mins

Yeah i opened the link they were in stock, i hit refresh before checking out and they were gone fml

They had bcm lowers again this morning...limit 1
My friend got an order in for me, but they just canceled it, good news is they offered to leave the order open and fill it whenever they get more in stock! So i guess i have a good chance of getting one soon and that will round out my lower collection minus a larue or a magpul lower when i hit the lottery

just purchased 2 30 rd mags from midway, they still have some if anyone's looking for them.

picked up one of these for $115 today...think i made out pretty well on the deal, nice to have a hook up! got some .223 at 40 cents a rd, and 9mm at 30 cents.

For a non-free float drop-in, the Troys are pretty decent.

UTG was bookmarked on my comp, but I price checked the Troy and decided that for the extra $50 or so, I wanted the Troy. I know $50 is different to everyone, but I thought it was worth it from the reviews/suggestions people gave me.

I think my scope/mount combo is going to be:

Burris P.E.P.R
Nikon M223 or P223

Anyone have any experiences with any of the above? I realize that some people prefer difference scopes, and I also recognize that this Nikon isn't world class. But, I've heard positive things about it at this price range, understanding there are better scopes available for additional money.

That's a good setup. Not overly expensive, and you get a quality scope and decent mount.

As for rails, specifically with drop-in non-free float rails...

I have an m223 and have been happy with it...no experience with the p.e.p.r mount but I like the scope, I have the 3-12x version with bdc. I would probably get a non bdc reticle next time thought. Great scope for the money...amazon had the m223 for about $100 cheaper then anybody else when I bought it.

DD drop in was my first choice, but I'm the Troy was offered to me $4 over cost (gun shop literally showed me the wholesale pricing), so I was happy.

As for the scope, thanks for the insight. Seems the Nikon 223 line is good value for the money, and doesn't break the bank. On the flip side, it doesn't SEEM to be absolute junk either.

I have the P.E.P.R mount, its awesome. REALLY solid construction. As soon as I saw it on a rifle, I knew I wanted it. You should check it out!

I used the Nikon M-223 1-4x with BDC in a LaRue LT139 mount on my latest build. I researched the Burris mount but decided that I wanted the known ruggedness of the LaRue rather than the unknown of the Burris. If you are not abusing it, the Burris will probably hold up just fine.

I don't have a lot of time on the Nikon but at this point I would rate it average. I'm not a huge fan of the reticle, but the glass is clear. What I really like is the 4x magnification. I liked it so much that I put a 4x scope on my Takedown as well. I would really like to have a 4x behind my RDS at some point, rather than the 3x. It's just enough of a bump in magnification for me at 100y to help out my aging eyes.

BTW, if I have the room under the PEPR, I'm going to slide MAGPUL backup sights on it. The PEPR has a quick detach feature (which I didn't choose). I may sell my current mount and pickup the quick detach, not sure about that tho yet.
