http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-DUAL-VAN...-/130787629977
I know its ebay but it says they are and that's a better deal. |

Pretty much just a short website to link you to their eBay page. I mean, I wouldn't do it since it's such a big job to take apart everything (especially if you haven't done it before). You should do the Beisian kit, not only because you know it will work for sure, but because they also made it first

Because some people get all uppity and fussy saying it's a waste of money to buy a rebuilt VANOS when you can do it yourself. I'd do Dr. VANOS if I had the money. Take out VANOS, swap in new one, put it all back together.

Brown colored O-rings are the international coding for Viton. However, if they are from facking China......they maybe made from tainted baby formula.
I suspect that the O rings are just fine from that ebay seller and I may purchase them myself to save a few bucks and put the competitive fear into $60.00 sellers. |

So, are you going to use Beisan's DIY to install these?

Probably not since I know how.

I bought Dr. Vanos, and I sleep fine at night. Apparently, it negates the need to do the rattle kit from Beisan (that's actually why I did it).
Nothing against Beisan. I paid a couple extra bucks for my laziness.

If you go back and read the literature for Bessian, they had material analysis done on the original O-rings, and professional input in designing a better version. Their o-rings contain some sort of material inside of the outer material, if I remember correctly.

Well another question. Since I cha fed my vcg around 10k ago, do I need to worry about replacing that again once I'm in again?

That's a judgement call. How long ago was it? In all likelihood, your VCG is fine, but you'll be kicking yourself if you smell burning oil 20k miles after you fix your Vanos seals.

Op those are same seals... another company sells them in UK as well but doesnt ship to NA. But you need two little orings, not one. I dont know why they have only one.
