It takes a lot to piss me off. Her attitude was abrasive as soon as i started talking about my issue. If you act like an idiot and piss me off long enough, I'm gonna snap. Plain and simple.

good enough actually. manager just called and asked if there was anything he could do. he knew she was in the wrong for the way she was presenting herself to begin with. the fact I put up with it so long was actually impressive to him. asked me to come back in and talk to him directly instead. basically he was kissing my ass. I have 14 phones on my business account. they better kiss my ass.

thought I was getting a good deal on tires from american muscle at $169 each and free shipping, then realized that the tires were only H rated, not W rated. Most likely just going to have the dealer do it.

They've got the car right now for a broken sway bar. Only a thousand more miles of warranty left

Turns out it wasn't the away bar itself, just the end links and bushings. Not nearly as exciting as they made it sound initially.

Which makes me worry a little but, as I'd rather not replace end links and away bar bushings every 30k miles.

aftermarket are sometimes better while being cheaper. definitely look into that. I had to replace the ones on my wife's Volvo and was glad. almost twice as thick as the oem and could even grease them where the oem you could not.

Stopped at beer distributor cuz wife wants to make beer bread. Got a case of sam adams winter classics on sale for $22. I'm digging this chocolate bock. Kinda like the holiday porter too. I guess i missed the memo chocolate and beer does mix.

So...what auto body shops do people like around here? I'm currently looking at Springfield Auto Body (where Muz got his car fixed) and a friend's friend's auto body shop that has done some good work in the past. I figure it's a good idea to look around though before I decide.

What do you need done? What's your price range? Do you want the best? Or are you looking for an average?

Off the top of my head:
Spectrum Collision (talk to Mark)
Arlington Auto Body (talk to Jeff) (both on S Four Mile Run)
American Service Center (talk to Jesse, assuming he's still there)

I'm looking for essentially a half front end repaint (bumper, nose panel, L fender, with blending into the hood & door) and left rear quarter fix (it has a nice crease in it from somebody pushing the middle of the panel to try and move the car ).

I don't want average work, there's always f*** ups in average work whether the work wasn't blended in well, overspray, or runs. My upper limit is probably around $2500; I'm willing to spend enough so that the car comes out perfect (or damn near perfect), but I don't want to overpay either. Do you know of anybody in the Columbia MD area? VA is fine but the closer the better.
